Last week, myself and Dave Cartlidge had the privilege of representing Blocks magazine at the McLaren Technology Centre for the unveiling of the latest LEGO Technic release, the remarkable LEGO Technic McLaren P1.
The event featured an engaging presentation by Tobias Sühlmann, Chief Design Officer at McLaren, who shared insights into the design and development of the P1 and the collaborative process with The LEGO Group.
We also had the opportunity to speak with Aurelian Rouffiange, the talented LEGO Technic Designer, who discussed the challenges he and his team faced during the development of this impressive model.
A highlight of the event was touring the McLaren factory and assembling a door from the new set. It was an exceptional experience, and I am eagerly looking forward to building my own LEGO Technic McLaren P1.
